Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is the from an energy resource that can rapidly replenishing the natural process like as energy generated from the water, wind or from the sun. The importance of renewable source of energy is increasing day by day because it is eco friendly source of energy.
The importance of renewable source of energy is increasing day by day and their major assets are atmospheric cleanliness and practical inexhaustibility. In renewable energy system, there is exchange of natural energy sources like sunlight, waves, falling water, wind, biomass, or geothermal heat into another form which can be further used, as heat or electricity. Production of renewable energy helps in decreasing the utility of bills by displacing electric power supply.

Renewable energy absorbs the energy from accessible flow of energy, from continuing natural processes, for example sunshine, flowing water, wind, geothermal heat flows, and biological processes. There are different types of renewable energy for example:

Solar energy: Solar energy is a renewable resource of energy because it can supply solar energy constantly to the earth. For the generation of electrical energy from solar energy there are two technologies: photovoltaic and solar-thermal.

Wind energy: The moment of air is commonly known as wind and the reason of flow of wind is due to the unevenly heating of the surface of the earth by the sun. Today the wind energy is chiefly used in the generation of electricity.

Geothermal energy: Geothermal energy is renewable source of energy which is obtained from the underneath earth's surface. Magma is tremendously hot liquid rock present in the core of the earth. When this magma naturally comes in contact with water or steam, then it heat the water, and this heated water is future piped to the surface, for the generation of electricity.

Biomass: Biomass obtains its energy from the sun while plants are growing. The word "biomass" can be described in various types of fuels for example it is a sources from trees, manure, wood, agricultural wastes, fuel crops and sewage sludge. Agricultural wastes comprise of resources like, rice hulls, peanut shells, cornhusks, leaves and grass clippings. Biomass is termed as renewable resource of energy because Agricultural wastes, sewage sludge, and manure all these are organic wastes, and it is regularly produced by the public.
Photosynthesis is the process with the help of which plants use to change the solar energy into chemical energy and this energy is further converted into heat energy when the material of plants are allowed to burned. Biomass power plants use boilers for the purpose of burning of biomass fuel .The heat released by this process is used to generate electrical energy.

Advantages of using renewable source of energy are:

It is an inexhaustible source for fuel.
It is eco-friendly i.e. no atmospheric pollution.
It is easily available in all parts of the world.
It reduces the use of non renewable source of energy.

If we burn a piece of wood after some time it will completely convert into ash, this is how a nonrenewable source of energy likes coal, natural gas etc works. But renewable source of energy is just opposite. For example if we use the geothermal energy for generation of electricity, then after using once it can be repeatedly used for the same purpose. Thus keeping this fact in mind now every country is developing the best way so as to prevent their atmosphere and the stock of fossil fuels.
